Abstract

In questo lavoro si intende mostrare il panorama religioso della Palestina tardoantica, il processo di cristianizzazione e le sopravvivenze pagane nell'area, confrontando poi tale processo con altre province del Tardo Impero Romano. La conclusione di questo lavoro è che i resti del cosiddetto genericamente “paganesimo”, soprattutto in relazione alle pratiche magiche, erano molto più abbondanti e persistenti di quanto fino ad oggi ritenuto.
